La ultima propuesta del Presidente Trump, RAISE Act, “Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment Act” (Reforma de la Inmigración Estadounidense para un Empleo Fuerte) o S. 354, se consideraría una revisión comprensiva de las leyes inmigratorias que hoy día se encuentran vigente. Le escribimos este blog solamente para dar un entendimiento sobre lo que es el RAISE Act, y los cambios a las leyes inmigratorias. Todavía no es ley, ya que tiene que pasar el escrutinio del gobierno americano. En estos momentos el sistema inmigratorio de los EE.UU. esta enfocado en la reunificación familiar y las necesidades de los negocios de EE.UU.: Por lo tanto es importante tomar ventaja de este sistema ahora vigente ya que la ley que lo podría remplazar puede estar en contra al parentesco familiar y a favor del sistema social y económico de los Estados Unidos. El RAISE Act proporciona:
RAISE Act, seria un sistema de méritos para propósito de ver quien seria elegible para entrar a los EE.UU. como inmigrante.[vi] Consultar el grafico a continuación, con una traducción breve de cortesía.
